Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department was one of the first few disciplines that were started since the inception of the college in the year 1995 with an intake of 60 students has now grown exemplarily with an admirable intake of “120 students and 28 highly dedicated teaching faculty and 9 non-teaching faculty ”. The department takes responsibility in organizing guest lectures, seminars, workshops and training programs with the help of engineers and academicians of national and international repute to help students to keep abreast with the latest developments in the field of ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING. Students are made to embolden future technology and master the art of computing by encouraging them to think futuristic by catalyzing Research related activities through the Research and Development cell.
The department has well-established Laboratories for Electrical Machines, Control Systems, Measurements & Instrumentation, Linear & Digital Integrated Circuits, Power System Simulation, Microprocessor & Microcontroller, Power Electronics and Drives, Renewable Energy Resources ,Engineering Practices, M.E Power Electronics & Drives and Research Lab. The faculty and students have publications in the reputed National and International Journals.
The placement record of the department has always been impressive. MORE THAN 90% OF OUR STUDENTS GET PLACED IN MNC’s AND CORE COMPANIES EVERY YEAR. The department has state-of-the art laboratories in almost all the areas of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The department has the latest simulation tools to cater to various specializations and is equipped with facilities for measurement, characterization and synthesis of experimental as well as theoretical results.
Students publish their research results in Journals and Conferences of international repute. They actively participate and display their projects / results at renowned National and International technical events. Students regularly undergo visits to various Industries and significant places of learning.
