Our department has the fine blend of dynamic and experienced faculty who provide quality education at both UG and PG levels. The department has dedicated faculties with a total of 39 teaching and non – teaching staffs. The highly qualified and experienced faculty members have a minimum experience of 5 years in their areas of specialization. The department has well – qualified faculties who have publications in the reputed National and International Journals.

The laboratory infrastructure of the department is excellent with state of art equipments and software related to the field of Engineering. The extensive facilities available in the laboratories can be utilized for research work, in addition to the lab courses as per the affiliating university requirement for UG and PG. Students achieve excellent and progressive academic results year on year. The Department has been producing good results with distinction and ranks in University Examinations (173 Ranks with 2 Gold Medal). Our department has been ranked first for the three years based on the results of the University examinations. At Sairam, we believe that discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment, in that way we are consistently able to achieve victory every year.

Activities at EEE department encourage the students to organize and participate in the national level symposium. The EEE - Association of Electrical and Electronics Engineers in association with IET and IEEE organizes national level technical symposium every year. The students exhibit their talents in various mind provoking events. The other events organized by the association are International Conferences, National Conferences, Workshops, Seminars / Guest Lecturers on advanced topics. All students of EEE are members of IET Students Forum.

Our students have brought home several laurels from National and International conferences. Our department has produced 173 University ranks and 2 gold medal. Our department IEEE-PES Students Branch Chapter has bagged twice in the High Performing Student Branch Chapter programme 2015 and 2016 among the world wide universities and awarded $334.33. Dept of EEE stands first among the 6 academic institutions from India and the only one institution to receive this award from Tamil Nadu.
